Scott Cawood

Dr. Scott Cawood, CCP, GRP, CSCP, CBP, has spent his entire career working to answer a very specific question: How can we make work―and workplaces―better? A self-described “work nerd,” Cawood’s passion for the workplace and how it functions (or not) inspired him to earn degrees in organizational communication, labor and industrial relations, education, and a doctorate degree in organization and work-based learning. Unsurprisingly, he’s forged these disciplines into a singular passion for organizations dedicated to great work. Since 2015, he’s been CEO of the nonprofit member-based association WorldatWork, dedicated to figuring out how to make work and the employee experience better for top organizations across the world. A renowned speaker and presenter, Cawood’s second book, titled The New Work Exchange, quickly became an Amazon bestseller in 2023.

As a youth leader in the 90s, Quinton travelled to schools, reformatories, and juvenile centres, discovering the depths of division and imbalance between different segments of society.
