One of the reasons we launched our new website in September was to allow for more useful member only areas where members could access premium content such as research documents and presentations from past events.
In the past we had one username and password for everyone but that meant that former members could continue to access the member only area without paying their fees.
On the new site each member has his or her own username and password which is deactivated if your membership lapses. Therefore the previous username and password do not work on the new site, which has caused confusion to some members.
How to get your new username and password
It is quite simple really. Simply click on the "Register" button which appears on the top right of every page of the SARA website.
Follow the on screen instructions to receive your unique password and you are good to go.
Benefits of member access
The member only access allows you to view certain parts of the library that others cannot, such as the HR Future and Workspan digital publications as well as remuneration specific tips for using MS Excel. Down the line we might make the presentations private too and more and more member only facilities are likely to be implemented .
Furthermore, if you need to change your personal details you can do this through the website and it will automatically effect the change on our system.
